My Project
My students have had the best discussions this year due to the novels we've received. They are excited for the opportunity to choose their final novel for the school year.
Our analysis of all novels is very student centered and their discussions are driven by questions they produce. I am very proud of the success they've had so far this year and the rise in confidence I have seen across our team.
"Reading has many benefits for students, from inspiring the imagination to improving academic abilities. When students embrace the importance of reading, they can reach their full potential. Active reading becomes widespread throughout childhood development and even into adulthood."
Most people can recall at least one novel they fell in love with early on in their academic career. I hope that might students find that in one of the novels on the list they helped me create.
