Beyond Basic Art Supplies for Budding Botticellis, Bruegels, & Basquiats

Help me give my students access to some great new art supplies this school year, such as true watercolor paper, new brushes, art pencils, blending stumps, and kneaded erasers!

My Project

Our middle school students are fun, talented, and enthusiastic artists, and are in the process of transitioning to more complex and detailed art projects. I'd like to offer them access to more specialized art supplies to match the type of work that they are doing.

I'm excited to have them draw with soft graphite art pencils, blending stumps, and kneaded erasers, and paint with true watercolor paper and assorted brushes.

Watercolor paper will produce better results with applying color washes, blending, masking, and lifting colors and the large flat brushes will allow them to apply paint to the paper in larger swaths.

I believe that these supplies will help elevate their drawings and paintings and increase both their confidence and interest in creating art.
