My Project

I will be teaching a 4th-grade class, and what I love most about my students is their big hearts and determination. They come to school each day full of energy and hope, even when they’re carrying burdens no child should have to face. Many of my students come from low-income families, and our school is Title I, where all students receive free lunch.

Sometimes, it’s the small things—like having deodorant, a healthy snack, or even their own set of pencils and notebooks—that can change everything for them.

These resources may seem simple, but to my students, they mean comfort, confidence, and the chance to fully focus on learning without embarrassment or distraction.

Providing them with basic supplies and hygiene products helps them show up as their best selves. It tells them that someone cares, and that can shift how they see themselves and their future. Every resource makes a difference—it can turn a tough day around or spark the motivation to keep trying. And that’s the kind of impact that lasts well beyond the classroom.
