This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an Elementary School Counselor, our younger students are still learning how to use the restroom and are still learning how ask for permission when needing to use the bathroom. Accidents do happen, and not all students bring an extra set of clothes.

By receiving this grant, I will be able to give my students an extra set of clothes to give them the confidence to continue to stay in school when an accident has occurred.

Parents do not always remember to bring an extra set of clothes after an accident has occurred the first time, so having extra clothes with me, will give parents and students the comfort that their students will always be in good hands!
