This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to you today as a special education teacher at WWSH. I am reaching out to request your support in obtaining a new computer to help me better serve my students.

As a special education teacher, I work hard to provide individualized instruction and support to my students with diverse learning needs.

I use a variety of specialized software and programs to help my students learn and to track their progress. Unfortunately, my current computer is outdated and no longer meets the demands of my job.

My computer is slow and often crashes, making it difficult for me to access important information and complete tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, I am unable to run some of the newer software and programs necessary for my job. This is hindering my ability to provide the best possible education and support to my students, and causing me a great deal of stress and frustration.

A new computer would make a significant difference in my ability to do my job effectively. With a new computer, I would be able to:

Quickly access important information and student records

Use specialized software and programs to tailor my instruction to individual student needs

Easily communicate with parents, administrators, and other teachers

Work more efficiently and effectively, reducing stress and increasing job satisfaction

As a teacher in a public school, funding for new equipment is often limited. This is why I am reaching out to you for support. Your donation, no matter how small, would make a significant difference in my ability to provide the best possible education and support to my special education students.
