My Project

Hello Donors! Thank you for choosing my class project to give your donation! My students and I will appreciate the difference it's going to make in our classroom!

With your help, these Kaplan Early Learning Golden Oak Rectangle tables will help my students to have more appropriate seating for their age group and encourage collaborative projects of our own.

My students are currently sitting in large desks that are more age appropriate for middle or high school students and I am second grade.

Our biggest concern right now is that the desks are a distraction. The students are falling out of them, kicking each other because their feet don't touch the ground, or playing inside of the storage of their desks. I know with your help the tables that you can help provide for my students will only make our learning environment better.

Not only are the desks a distraction, but they also don't fit the best in my classroom. There are limited ways that I can organize my room because of the desks and this limits mobility for my students and I. The desks are also different sizes so the students have smashed their fingers between the different sizes before.

With all this being said, I hope you can see the importance of these tables in our classroom. They would be more appropriate for the flow of our classroom and for the age and size of the kids I have in class. Thank you for your time and donation, it is greatly appreciated, what you do!
