My Project
I am a first-year teacher in a low socioeconomic school district. This is my first classroom with my first group of students. One thing that I strive to do with my students is get them out of their uncomfortable desk seating as much as possible. When I do this, I notice students are more apt to complete schoolwork and understand what is being taught, which in turns gives better results to their education.
When students are able to get out of the strict confinements of a desk and chair, their attitude has a positive change.
With this project, I want to give my students that positive attitude by providing them with flexible seating options in my classroom.
