My Project
My student population is diverse, through background, experience, language and socio-economic status. Many students lack exposure to creative outlets and building play through STEM activities. My goal is for students to develop and expand their knowledge of engineering and creative play through these materials. Education has become so prescriptive, so it is my hope that by providing these materials I can foster a love of learning and spark the flame of creativity and a thirst for knowledge and exploration. Our school is a Title School and we rely on opportunities, like this one, to build out toolboxes for our children!
