This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Creating an efficient and comfortable workspace is essential for student success, especially in hands-on, technology-driven courses like Broadcast, Yearbook, Geometry, and Credit Recovery. Currently, the classroom seating consists mostly of hard plastic chairs, making it difficult for students to stay comfortable and focused during long editing sessions.
With ergonomic chairs, students will be able to edit videos, design yearbook pages, and complete coursework with greater ease and efficiency.
The addition of taller, more comfortable chairs at our sit/stand desks will support better posture and flexibility.
By upgrading the seating in our classroom, students will not only be able to work more efficiently and comfortably but also develop essential career skills in using professional workstations, collaborating in teams, and managing projects effectively. These resources will benefit students for years to come, preparing them for high school, college, and beyond.
