This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students in visual-arts classes have been fortunate to receive a classroom 3D printer through a generous grant from APS and the Phoenix Suns. These young artists are using an online program to learn how to make three-dimensional designs that they'll be able to print in class. Each student has access to a Chromebook at school, but the touchpads are not ideal for computer-aided design.

A computer mouse for each student will enable them to create their designs more easily, by having the select, right-click and scrolling options.

A class set of 30 computer mice will allow all students who come to art class the use of this helpful tool. They'll be able to accelerate their learning and production without the frustration of using only a mouse pad and arrow keys.
