We have a wonderful school that provides many of the special education classes in our district. Our classroom has students in grades K-2 who require many adaptive and modified materials, additional assistance, and special care from adults who share their passion and patience to encourage our young students to learn and achieve! Our students are exceptional, surprising us daily with their eagerness to learn, communication efforts, determination, playfulness and joy!
We need heavy duty binders to hold each students' individual materials for when they follow along during group instruction: velcro cards for matching the spelling of their names, identifying feelings, numbers, colors, alphabet, calendar, and more!
Black fabric binders will be longer lasting than the inexpensive ones we keep replacing and/or taping back together, plus the black fabric provides a non-glare background surface for our students to clearly see materials without visual clutter.
