My Students
Every child has the ability to be successful in school, regardless of age, race, ability, or disability. I am a Pre-K teacher to my pod of amazing Pre-K students all of which have their own unique qualities, talents, and strengths. Many of my students come from low-income immigrant families. The students in my classroom also have their own unique set of challenges. They deserve a classroom that is conducive to their learning needs. This year, my eager-energetic Pre-K students enter my classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore. For the past year, many of the children haven't had the opportunities to socialize, interact nor learn how to use their social skills with other children.
My Project
The best ideas and approaches to learning come directly from educators who have experience in teaching and connecting with students. In order to address the needs of my students, I want to reach a wide range of interests. This year, my students are even more eager, curious, and can’t wait to come to school each day. Beyond the classroom, my students rarely interact with English. With the vast variety of TPT resources, that would excite the students' naturally inquisitive minds and motivate them to explore along with their classmates in topics beyond my teachings.
