My Project

We would like to focus on building a community in our school through students building a place to sit and build friendships before and after school. These three metal benches will be placed where students typically congregate before and after school to allow a few places to sit and talk.

Learning about each other through community, communication, and collaboration is what will build the future generation.

These benches may only appear to be a place to sit, but in actuality will be the birthplace of relationships that will help carry our students into adulthood.

This will set up a small area that can be slowly added on for students to learn more about each other, create ideas for community service, and work through solutions for the many situations that come up throughout the school year.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
