My Project

My students struggle to purchase the basic school supplies needed at the beginning of the year. Folders, pens, pencils, tissues, band aids, markers and art supplies are just a few of the necessities they will need, not only in my class, but their other classes as well.

This project will allow me to provide my students a supplies package that will contain a folder, pen, pencil, markers, note cards, tissues, and a dry eraser marker.

These supplies will remain in my classroom throughout the school year in a labeled storage bin on a book shelf. This will help students stay organized and prepared for their daily lessons.

A majority of my students come from low-income households. Through your generous donations I will be able to provide supplies for my students and take financial stress off of their families.

In addition, the bulletin board supplies: card stock, bulletin board letters and paper, will be used to create a welcoming and informative space for my students. I will use this space to post daily objectives, agendas, and important school information. The laminating pouches will be used to keep these announcements secured for the school year and posted to the bulletin board.
