This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Being organized is not something that comes natural to all people, especially not middle school students. This is a skill that needs to be taught explicitly. It can be especially difficult for families at the start of the school year to provide all things that their children need for school. I am requesting binders, notebooks, dividers, and pencil pouches for my students.
By providing the materials necessary to start the school year, we will be setting our junior high students up for success from day one!
We want all students to have what they need for learning, ready to go on day one so we can teach them how to keep their materials, and in turn their learning, organized at their fingertips.
