This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have students with severe disabilities, which can make learning very difficult, especially if they are in pain. If a student is in their power chair most of the day, they may need a soft chair to lay in. Just being able to relax and stretch out

makes a huge difference in their experience at school.

Being uncomfortable can truly impede their learning. I want to be able to provide them with whatever is necessary so they can learn.

Despite the struggles my students face on a daily basis, they try their best to do well and earn good grades. Adding a sofa chair to our classroom will help create a learning environment where everyone feels comfortable.
