Being Comfortable Helps Me Become a Great Learner!

Help me give my students a more comfortable seating arrangement for their size. The tables I currently have available are too tall for most of my students to sit comfortably.

My Students

Daily I am impressed by the kindness that my students demonstrate to others...especially their classmates. They have such huge hearts and support each other much like a family would do for one another. They also have the greatest smiles and personalities.

Many of my students struggle with the current schedule and academic atmosphere.

They want to be together and need the classroom interaction. I am trying to provide them with as much engagement as possible, but struggle with current restrictions to movement and activities.

My Project

I am hoping to get more tables in my classroom that actually fit the size of my students. Currently, students are having to extend themselves to reach the table while sitting. These tables give my students the opportunity to do classroom work at a comfortable level. I have found that my groups that have appropriate seating are engaging in lessons much better, and they seem to be doing better with the concepts I am teaching as well. I have never had a student complain about their current seating arrangement, but I know they all want the opportunity to sit at the more comfortable table.
