Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low income areas and need exposure to several experiences and explorations. Providing them with multiple learning experiences will help them grow academically and behavior wise. They love to learn and use hands-on items such as iPads and materials they can touch and manipulate.

My students are curious about their world and how it works.

I will be providing items to help them become more familiar with their world to help them be more successful. Thank you for your support.

My Project

Getting these materials, like markers and Wikki stix, will enable my students to be creative in art. My students can create original and authentic artwork that represents who they are.

Using one’s imagination and creating original artwork gives one a sense of pride.

My students need to have a way to be creative in art to show who they are and develop pride and confidence in themselves as they grow and mature

They love to create and show off their work to others. They love to use third senses as well. These will provide tactile experiences for my students.

Imagination can be a powerful thing.

This project will foster creativity and imagination by letting them draw about stories and life experiences.
