Can you imagine children being able to write a story and illustrating that story? In the beginning of the year many schools do not have the supplies needed and rely on the parents to provide those needed items. Sometimes that is not possible.
Welcome to my kindergarten classroom.
My students are very energetic and eager to learn. I teach in a full day kindergarten, public school setting in Maryland. These children surprise you because they are so motivated. Art and journal writing is a very important part of the Kindergarten learning experience and not having the right tools or a variety of those tools can be frustrating.
My Project
We need notebooks, glue and colored pencils to get the new school year started. Many children do not have funds or supplies in the beginning of the school year. Having these items will help to start the new school year off right. It will make it easier for me and the students in my class.
