Help me give my students glue sticks to start the year.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Sixth graders start middle school scared, disoriented, and full of energy.
Our school serves a diverse group of students, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds, are in the process of acquiring English as a second or another language, and who have exceptionalities related to learning.
We are a Title I school and are always looking for ways to better support and motivate our students.
Our students are creative, expressive, friendly, and really value their interpersonal relationships. They need immediate feedback, attention, and a supportive environment. Some love sports, many enjoy memes, and all can achieve with the appropriate scaffolds.
My Project
Sixth graders go through a lot of glue sticks in all of their classes. Not all families will be able to afford a constant supply of glue sticks this year.
Something as simple as glue sticks, which are used for art, gluing stuff in their notebooks, making 3D pyramids, and so much more, really can make learning a bit more interesting for students.
No one is really sure yet what this upcoming school year will look like. At some point, students will be physically in a classroom. Some students will likely continue to do written assignments or create projects at home.
More than half of students from low‑income households
