My students come from many different backgrounds and come to me with very different experiences. They speak many different languages and have very different educational needs. They come from different kinds of families and different living situations.
My students are coming to school for the first time.
These four year olds are eager to learn and engage with their peers. The best part of working with my students is that they all accept and love each other regardless of all their differences.
My Project
When the school year starts there are so many fun art activities that help to build a strong classroom community. This project will help ensure that we have the needed materials for each of the activities to be successful on day one.
Preschool students express their thoughts and feelings through creative expression.
These materials will help the students through the first couple of weeks and they get comfortable with school and each other. Providing both fun and opportunities to calm their bodies.
