My Project
Every year, there are students who end up dropping band before the first note is played on the instrument. The reason for this is because they cannot afford to buy the smallest of items needed for the class, the beginner band method book. This book is as essential for every student to have in order to learn to play the instrument.
The thirst for the knowledge of music is a basic human want and need that dies off without this critical part of band.
The next great musician, musician, or scholar develops critical thinking skills only learned in band. By helping to fund this project, you are helping to insure that this knowledge is not only obtained but never starved and thrown away.
