My students are "begging for books"! I am a newer teacher and I am in need of books for our classroom library. Most teachers have books they have accumulated over their years of experience, unfortunately I am not to that point yet. I would love to provide my students with some new and exciting books.
My students are like any other fourth graders, full of life and hungry for knowledge!
They are incredibly eager to learn anything and everything they can! Our school has a great sense of community where every student, parent, teacher, and staff member feels welcomed.
My Project
My students and I will use the new books for a variety of tasks. I would love to have some new books to use for read alouds and comprehension skills. My students will use the books to complete independent reading, partner reading, entries in their reading response journals, and to read for enjoyment! Every child deserves access to books that interest them!
Having these new books in my classroom will open up new doors for both I as a teacher, and my students as learners.
My students will have more of a variety of books to choose from. I will have more books to use as resources for teaching reading skills to my students!
