My Project

As I come into my fourth year teaching first grade, I have noticed how different each class is. One thing that will always stay the same is that my students will always know that it’s okay to be themselves. This year my class theme is reflecting that. The goal is for the students to know that so matter your race or gender, it’s okay to be who you are.

The decorations will reflect our Bee You throughout my classroom.

Some students are still learning how to be kind, and, when they are not kind to others, it makes the other student feel sad. All students' feelings matter.

Bee your unique self! Making sure my students know that each and every one of them is important is my priority. The diversity book will let the students know that even though you may be different from another classmate, you still matter.

The iPad is for the students to use when they earn an award or break. The student will use it for learning games. The pencils will help make sure they always have something for writing. The bee pencils will be an incentive they can earn. The headphones will provide a set for each student, especially during online testing. The organizer will help me keep the students' work organized. Each student will have their own seat sack.
