Nestled in a downtown neighborhood, we are a small school with a big personality. In our kindergarten class, we are learning to read, write, count, and be positive influences on those around us. Building relationships and enjoying learning make a large part of who we are! Our students are able to challenge themselves academically and creatively throughout the year to better understand who they are as individuals.
When the students come to school, we want them to be excited about walking into our classroom.
They know our classroom is a safe and respectful environment for them. We value knowing they are in a judgment-free room, where they are accepted and can share how they feel. Each child brings unique qualities to our classroom that helps build a positive and welcoming environment we strive for!
This kit will give my students the Bee-bot experience in the classroom. Along with the 2 rechargeable Bee-Bots, there are 4 activity mats: Busy Street Mat, Farm Yard Mat, Transparent Grid Mat, and Transparent Pocket Mat. My students will work with students in other grades to complete the various coding tasks and challenges. Older students will work with younger students and teach them how to code.
Your generous donations will allow us to introduce coding to some of our youngest learners.
As students learn, work together, problem-solve and think outside of the box, they will be inspired to explore the world of coding. Bee-Bots can and will open the windows of creativity allowing students to more fully explore the endless world of computing! Bee-Bots are colorful, easy-to-operate, and friendly little robots that introduce coding to kids while having fun.
