My Project

For years we have used and been very happy with CODE.org. This year we started using Scratch Jr in addition to CODE. The children love making Scratch projects and coding their sprites each week during our computer science lessons. Unlike adults, especially older adults, the children have no fear using technology. They are like sponges wanting to explore and learn more. Having a class set of Bee-Bot programmable and rechargeable robots will be an amazing learning opportunity! I have recently learned how to use Bee-Bot robots across all subject areas (ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, and Computer Science). My students will develop sequencing and basic programming skills and they will build their spatial awareness while trying to find the best route for this robot. Thank you!
