it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are the changing faces of America! Most of our students are first-generation Americans. With over 90% of our school receiving free or reduced-priced lunch, the need is there.
As a Title I school in East Las Vegas, our students need your help.
Our school is the first and only college prep charter school in East Las Vegas. Our students work rigorously during our extended year and extended day school. However, the success of our school revolves around the people. The teachers, students, families, and donors like you, make this school reach the levels some would see as impossible!
My Project
Every teacher hopes their students will become successful in life. For many, success means attending college, graduating, and having a career. Advanced Placement (AP) courses allow students to get an early taste of college along with college credit if they score high enough on their exam.
Our students need updated resources to be prepared to succeed on the redesigned AP Government and Politics exam.
This project includes a toolkit for new projects, pacing guides, practice exams, and graphic organizers which will equip students with the necessary skills and expertise to earn college credit prior to high school graduation.
