My Students

I teach a 4th and 5th grade combo class. My students are gifted and I want to enrich my students learning using different strategies and lessons that push them academically and socially. Although most of my students are strong in academics, some are still struggle with reading and math. I work hard to lessen the gap between their ability and their potential.

I relish in innovative and creative ways to educate students so they are passionate about their own learning.

The more I learn, the better teacher I become.

My Project

Happy Go Teach is a conference that focuses on preparing students for the 21st century by teaching about relationships, attitudes, effort, creative thinking, critical thinking, stamina, independence, choice, and self-efficiency.

By attending this conference, I want to grow professionally by learning strategies I can use in the classroom.

I will also be engaged in hands on activities that I can do with my students. The conference material covers all subject areas for elementary curriculum.

Finally, this conference inspires teachers to be creative and innovative with students. When I return to the classroom, I want to be fired up and walk in the door with many ideas that I can implement and share with my students.
