This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The robots and charging station I am requesting will improve my students' learning by providing age-appropriate experiences to learn the principles of coding and technology development. I want to promote digital citizenship in my students so they learn from an early age how to be mindful users of technology and see themselves as technology developers as well.
I have --- goals for this project: 1) Promote age-appropriate learning of coding, 2) Introduce STEM experiences at an early age, so the students can see themselves as engineers and scientists, and 3) Learn basic principles of digital citizenship, so they can fully develop their amazing brains.
My students are special because they come from diverse countries and speak different languages. They will be an asset to Math, technology, and science, and I want to promote their knowledge and awareness of these fields.
