My Project

My students are a wonderful group of third graders who strive to grow and learn from each other and the world around them. I want to give them every advantage that I can and I am confident that these sensory fidgets, growth mindset journals and diversity prompts will help with their social emotional learning, build resilience, confidence, as well as built a strong classroom community. A welcoming environment is one where students feel safe, accepted, challenged and a sense of “family”. Even though we aren’t related, we are our own classroom family.
