My students need Chromebooks in order to continue rocking out Google Classroom. The Chromebooks are going to help them become 'Google'licious, while also becoming high achieving scholars.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a low-income/high poverty area. Daily my students are faced with several challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. My classroom needs to be a safe place for them to learn and thrive. We have fallen in love with Google classroom and need 10 more Chromebooks to be 1-1. Daily I watch my students persevere despite their many life challenges.

I teach at a Title I school in Michigan where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

The access to technology at home is limited. Coming to school is a safe haven for many.

My Project

The use of Chromebooks happen daily in our classroom. We use them for Google Classroom. We can not say enough about how it has revolutionized our learning. We need 10 more to become a 1-1 classroom. This will allow for even more individualized instruction.

We are going to dig deeper into both math and language arts using our Chromebooks.

We are a center based classroom and my students thrive on individualized instruction. Having access to 10 more Chromebooks will allow me to create even more individualized instruction. This project will significantly help students directly on a daily basis. M-Step is computer based and I feel strongly that daily computer use will increase scores.
