Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Please help my students engulf themselves in producing grade level writing during Writer's Workshop. I will use the writing process posters, chart, organizers, and publishing folders to have students follow the process of planning, drafting, revising, editing, publishing, and presenting their writing.
In preparation for state testing, students have been engaging in the writing process with the 3 genres.
However, my students need more structure during our writing block. I think that having these resources will help them understand our process better.
Having posters to help with answering questions like RACES will also help students focus and prove their claims with text evidence. The brief writing journals will also help them with writing for a different purpose.
