My classroom is a very colorful and energetic room. We use lots of movement and different materials to help our learning. I would love to see my students thrive in writing, as that is a foundation skill that will be a part of their lives from here on out.
My students come from low-income families.
In most families both parents work, and many are single parents. because of this students rely on school not only for learning but also for nurture and support.
My students are amazing and love active learning. Anytime they can get their hands on something to help them learn they jump at it.
My Project
The reading materials I am requesting will help students become more comfortable with the different types of writing we use in the classroom and allow them a little more independence as they begin to write more fluently. The materials will also make it much easier to complete class and interactive writing projects.
My project will help students' writing, as well as give me many more tools to help those students that continue to struggle in that area.
I am excited to see how much their writing improves!
