Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our innovators assisted the principal in designing a STEM Without Wall Exploration zone in our school's courtyard. 1st through 5th grade innovators designed a geology and oceanography area.

The Oceanography area will be used to implement hands-on activities and investigations centered around water and the ocean.

The geology area has a variety of different types of rocks that our innovators can sort, examine and classify. The gift cards from TPT will allow for me to choose a variety of different hands-on exploration activities and projects that will put our innovators in the STEM Career role of an Oceanographer and a Geologist.
