My students need to gear up for testing. I am excited to bring the Eggspert into my classroom to help engage my students! I am also asking for some cardstock and comb bindings for our after testing Poetry Books!
I have the opportunity to work with some of the best students in the world each day! I might be very bias, but the students that walk through my door are all unique individuals with a passion to learn. We are a part of an International Baccalaureate school, and we encourage our students to take control of their own learning every day.
In my classroom, all students bring different dynamics into the classroom that help not only themselves grow, but encourage success to others around them as well.
Every student learns in different ways, so students are able to not only learn from myself but others around them as well. Inquiry and collaboration are implemented daily into the classroom. Students take control of their own learning, and are finding the tools to help them become successful in their future as well.
Most importantly, my students are kids. They are kind, loving, sensitive, adventurers, thinkers, artists, musicians, athletes, and so much more. They are young, and they need love and support. If you were to meet them, they would all latch onto your heart and stay with you forever, just as they have done to mine.
My Project
My job as a third grade teacher is to prepare my students for the first year of state testing. However, it can be very nerve-racking for my students as they do not know what is to come. I want to be able to provide my students with a fun incentive to practice the test prep that we need by incorporating the Eggspert into our classroom.
Eggspert is a fun interactive buzzer system that allows students to buzz in when they know the answer to a problem.
Along with the Eggspert, I am asking for some card stock and binding combs for my after testing incentive of student created poetry books! I am so excited to share my love of poetry with my students and for them to have a project to look forward to after testing as well.
