it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy going on reading adventures and love to read! They get excited when I tell them it's carpet time. I want to provide my students with a wide range of books. I want them to have these books tangible so they can enjoy each page as they read. These kiddos are our future and I want to provide them with literature that they enjoy.

I want my students to each have their own copy of Because of Winn-Dixies to follow along as I read aloud to them.
My students are excited to go to our classroom library every day, and they are so invested in their reading.
Having access to books also helps my students grow in their reading levels.
My students need new books to keep them motivated and to read on a daily basis. New books will fuel the love of reading in my classroom. Year after year, I have seen students fall in love with reading as I introduce them to books written by various authors. I truly believe that all students are readers, they may just not have found the right book yet!
