Our afterschool club provides a bonding experience for Latina students at our school. We want to expand what we're accomplishing by focusing on strengthening literacy skills.
I'm requesting thirty copies of the novel Because of Winn Dixie along with several Spanish translations for our girls to read together to strengthen vocabulary and literacy school.
A book of lesson ideas will help us come up with some exciting ways to engage with the book. Gel pens will make writing about the characters even more fun!
