This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These various items from Demco are super high quality and kid friendly. They will help the library be more beautiful and welcoming to our students.

They will also help students at our school be able to find books more independently.

They will help students understand library organization systems as well as the alphabet. In addition, new books will be displayed in ways that are appealing and eye-catching.

It is hard to get funding for items like this through the school sites but they are so necessary for keeping up with other (well funded) libraries and providing students equitable access to reading materials. Visually, these materials will make a huge difference and will help the library look welcoming and kid-friendly. Thank you so much for considering.
