This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year a group of 5th through 8th graders work with a team of teachers to put on a musical. This year's musical is Beauty and the Beast. The cast is set, rehearsal has begun, and the students couldn't be more excited!

We have amazing talent to showcase at our school; all we need is enough microphones to make sure we can hear everyone!

All of the students are eager to be involved, and all of their parts are important regardless of whether they have a lead role, a supporting role, or even just one line.

Sadly, we don't have enough mics to give everyone a microphone, and, since we are working with younger students, many of them can't project loudly enough to be heard without a mic. Our goal is to get enough mics for everyone so that we can hear every single line in the show!

Help us reach our goal and make sure that every beautiful voice is heard in this year's production of Beauty and the Beast!
