Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom could truly use a refresh! This year, I aim to make the classroom homey so students are more comfortable in their environment, that's why my project contains an entire classroom decor kit that provides all the decor products to help me transform my classroom. The classroom rug needs to be replaced. It had to be discarded due to extraordinary use. While I have cube bookcases, the cube baskets will transform my classroom library so the books can be easily organized utilizing the entire space in the bookcase cubes. The baskets are made specifically for IKEA cubes. I added an electric stapler because my students must tear out the Homework pages from their workbook and staple them. This stapler will make the process much faster and will use less instruction time to complete this task. Comfort and organization will be my main priority.
The Boho classroom decor kit, IKEA cube baskets, electric stapler, and the new rug will be the anchor so I can continue to add and create a comfortable learning environment throughout the year.
