My Project

Research shows that the classroom environment has a huge effect on student learning. While these three items for this project may seem unrelated they actually all contribute to the learning environment in an impactful way. We know that different lighting can play different roles in enhancing classroom performance such as improving vision, concentration, motivation, behavior, and academic achievement. We need to turn off the fluorescent bulbs and provide our students with these natural lighting!

Natural light positively contributes to a higher academic performance!

The right lighting is not all we need! A clean, well supplied class is also essential. Wipes to wipe down surfaces not only makes students aware that we care about them and their environment but also improves attendance through less sick days! Students feel happier about their class and proud to be there.

Our district is a one to one tech district where we provide a chromebook to every student in the district. They are also given one charger. These chargers are left at home or lost and the issue of an uncharged chromebook is an ongoing problem, every day. Having the extra chargers in the room allows students to work efficiently without the stress of an uncharged device.
