I am a new teacher in this school district and I want to start off the right way. I want to have the supplies my new students will need to get themselves, and then keep themselves organized throughout the year. When you have supplies that are of nice quality and fun to use students are much more willing to use them and keep themselves organized. Having colored binder clips and paper clips make it easier to stay organized. Students who are organized can spend their time in school learning instead of trying to figure out where their supplies they need are. Things like folders and post its are always helpful in organizing. Silver sharpies allow us to write on anything, regardless of color. Tissues for cold season, paperclips, paper and pencils, all these kinds of basics are things that I need to start out right with my new students.
