Beautiful Butterfly

My students need more science and real life examples to show them the stages of the lives of butterflies.

My Students

Students in my classroom have multiple severe disabilities. Some of these disabilities include autism, reactive attachment disorder, turners syndrome, Down’s syndrome, and some emotional and behavioral disorders.

They beam with joy as they proudly identify letters and discover sounds.

They love to learn!

These students have overcome so many obstacles in such a short time!

93% of students in my classroom qualify for free or reduced lunch. 90% of my students go to therapy outside of the classroom, while 100% of the students have a therapy within the school setting.

My Project

Science is a vital part of learning. They will be able to see the life stages and then see the butterflies fly away and enjoy the beautiful flowers around our school. The butterfly kit and supplies that I am requesting for my students are a vital part of the life cycle.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.

We just need your help in getting everything through our door!
