My Project

My children come to school excited about learning. Reading is an essential part of their day. It is very important to have books that interest everyone available in my classroom library.

The classroom and school library are the only places some of my children have the opportunity to pick a book to read.

This makes it so important for our library to be full of all types of different books. Children not only need a variety of topics to choose from, but they also need many different levels of text, from early readers, to independent. The goal of this project is to replenish book titles that have either worn out, or children have lost interest in reading them. From well-known characters like Pete the Cat, and Clark the Shark, to new titles like "How to Read a Book", these will surely get children excited about reading.
