This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read especially when they can choose their own book. They are so eager to become better readers. My students have a weekly reading log that they complete daily for homework. These materials will help make a difference in their learning because they are so into Dogman and Baby-Sitters Club books. Having more of these books readily available will help my students have a book that they are interested in. On Fridays, we read in the dark with Flashlights. My students would love to have some fresh, new and engaging books in our library.
