My Students
My 4th grade class is in desperate need of headphones and reusable water bottles. With the pandemic, and the increased usage of technology in the classroom, kids need their own materials. We are almost through the second quarter and not all kids have the supplies they need. Rather than using small cups from the nurse's office, it would be a great gift for the kids to all have their own water bottle to use and refill in the room/keep at their desk to stay hydrated and help reduce our waste. Secondly, if each child had their own pair of headphones, it would reduce the amount of surfaces touched and would teach kids responsibility in caring for their own materials. My class is majority low class, in need of any assistance and love they can get. We are grateful for your contributions!
My Project
These headphones and water bottles will help my students immensely in class. There are individualized lessons online for them to listen to and complete. Specifically in math, they can think of the financial literacy aspect of saving money on using a material more than once rather than single use products. We don't have enough headphones for each student to use and it would help if everyone had a pair in order to learn together.
Secondly, the students in my class don't all have a reusable water bottle.
These are great for the environment, teaching responsibility in caring for your items, and encouraging students to drink more water. This will reduce the amount of little cups that we use from the nurse and it will keep them hydrated for learning!
