Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Through proven research and experience motivating students by utilizing both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation has been beneficial. Unfortunately, intrinsic motivation is something scholars of today lack. This is okay because our duty as educators is to gauge the gap. Gaging the gap looks like finding ways to motivate students to reach their full potential.

All year my scholars have strived to obtain mastery through dedication and commitment to their studies.

I have found many ways to motivate them both intrinsically and extrinsically throughout the year thus far. I have seen a growth in students' scores with my encouragement and rewards for their hard work. I hope to be able to reward my top three scoring scholars with a pair of Beats for achieving the highest mastery or above on Leap.

With your donations, I can provide a few students with a reward like no other. As we continue to advance towards LEAP 2025 students may get tired from all the hard work and begin to lose focus, but the anticipation and inspiration to obtain the goal of scoring mastery will surely motivate students. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will be part of a blessing to some hard-working students.
