My Project

Much of the music our band plays calls for Concert Toms. Our school does not own a set of Concert Toms. Until now, we have improvised using incorrect-sounding instruments, borrowed from another school, or not played the piece all together.

Our students deserve to have the correct drums to play when the music calls for these specific instruments.

Concert Toms always add a dramatic effect which gives more power and nuance to the sound of the percussion section and the band as a whole. Using the makeshift replacements does not allow us to fully play the music the way the composer intended.

Our students have been patient and willing to do their best with what has been provided. It is time to reward their efforts with instruments that should be in every band room.
