My classroom is a hands-on technology course in a minority high school providing enrichment to core academic studies in the rest of the building. Our music station is one island complementing our video station, digital animation station, prototyping island, and world communication station.

We have a computer dedicated for music creation plus a keyboard and microphone. Our students need a digital drum kit to complete our music station which will empower them to compose and create full musical productions.

The music station is open for all students in our school to design, compose and produce musical projects as well as background music for video projects.

Music is an expression of the spirit and all students need an opportunity to express their creativity. Music projects inspire students, promote success in other areas of study, provide a valid reason to stay in school and let the imagination soar. Music is a holistic opportunity.
