With your help my students will use LEGO bricks to explore rhythm, vibrations, and instrument-making in a whole new way.
With LEGO Creative Kits, they'll build simple percussion instruments and practice rhythm notation through fun, hands-on activities.
By connecting bricks, students will visualize how beats align in a measure, compose their own rhythms, and discover how sounds can layer to create rich musical textures. Our second graders explore the relationship between sound and vibrating objects as part of their science curriculum.
Our students are naturally curious and love to build, but many don’t have access to music lessons or instruments outside of school. This project gives them a joyful, creative outlet that they will remember.
Best of all, these materials will be used for years to come, reaching hundreds of young musicians. Thank you for helping us bring music to life - one brick at a time!
